From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. The concept of personhood (who is a person within a society) is the fundamental component of any selective concept of people. A distinction is maintained in philosophy and law between the notions "human being", or "man", and "person". The former refers to the species, while the latter refers to a rational agent (see, for example, John Locke's Essay concerning Human Understanding II 27 and Immanuel Kant's Introduction to the Metaphysic of Morals). Central issues of interest to people are the understanding of the human condition and the meaning of life, and survival. Religion, philosophy, and science show or represent modes and aspects of inquiry which attempt to investigate and understand the nature, behavior, and purpose of people. Sociology, economics, and politics represent modes by which people investigate how to maximize a collective survival strategy. From Wikipedia under the

Is not about her being afraid or anything like that...who cares, the problem is if she is an adult and verbally abused you kids then she's pretty screwed.; No adult can just go and tell a minor off. She can get arrested. So her stupid ass would have been the one in trouble if she called the cops if you kids were to say she was verbally abusing you guys. get it? Answered by Daisy Bacler - Mon Apr 14 00:36:09 2008 Why do people get annoyed at others who speak their language? Q. Hi, I'm from England and I often hear from some of my fellow Englishmen that they hate they way Americans spell and a pronounce words in the English language (I find those people who bash Americans for these to be ignorant morons). Anyway, I'd like to know if this sort of thing happens between other countries sharing the same language. Like, do do some Spanish people complain about the way Mexicans speak their language? Or what about people from Portugal? Do they get annoyed with people from Brazil? Sorry, about that. Take away that "a" inbetween *and pronounce*. My bad :( I have problems with Dyslexia. So, I know what it's like to bugged because of spelling. Asked by RJ - Sat Jan 31 06:31:59 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. Romanian is the official language in both Moldova and Romania (those are in Eastern Europe). Romanians often make fun of the way we speak "their" language. There are entire sites dedicated to jokes about us and our dialect. What sucks is that we seem to have developed an inferiority complex because of that :( So, yeah, it's all over the world, not just in the large countries. You know how everyone's uncomfortable with stuff that's even a tiny bit different from what they're used to. Then again, it's understandable in some cases, like when it creates mutual unintelligibility. Take the Scottish dialect for example. Since I'm used to the more widespread American and British English, I think Scottish English is completely crazy :) I tried… [cont.] Answered by Alterverse - Sat Jan 31 18:31:39 2009 How do I start networking and meeting people with facebook?
Q. I have a myspace and have friends on it but just got the facebook. However, how do I start adding people from my school without looking like a creep and then run into them on campus. I do want to meet new people but I dont know too many people at my school. I just don't want to add random people. Transferring to my university from JC makes it harder. I graduated h.s. in 01, before all this social networking craze and not too many people my graduting year are on them. The people I actually talk to in class or at school are not on facebook. Asked by SL1983 - Sat Apr 8 22:43:10 2006 - - 2 Answers - 1 Comments A. you can be my friend! email me, i dont want to give my name on this page : x if you know one person at your school on facebook, then ask to meet their friends, and then you can add them, and its endless. also, check out people in your class, add your classes to your profile and you can see who is also on facebook from there excellent for looking for a study buddy in a class (or looking for an excuse to make a friend) Answered by kels45g - Sat Apr 8 22:47:57 2006 From Yahoo Answer Search: "people" Quotes about people Sourced
